C’Pro STI is the online platform used in vocational education to track the acquisition of skills by learners. Whether you are a teacher, student, or company tutor, access is based on a unique URL for each institution and personal identifiers. Connection issues rarely stem from a complex technical problem: they almost always lie upstream, in account activation or the entry of identifiers.

Why connection to C’Pro STI fails even before entering the password

Before typing your identifier, you must first reach the correct page. Each subscribing institution has a unique URL in the form www.cpro-sti.fr/[UAI], where the UAI corresponds to the institution’s code. If you type a generic URL or that of another high school, the page will not display or will return an error.

The second common blockage concerns the browser. The official documentation strongly advises against using any browser other than Chrome or Firefox. On Safari, Edge, or a smartphone’s built-in browser, display malfunctions or blocked features are common.

Have you ever encountered a blank page after clicking “Log in”? The presence of a network proxy or antivirus with overly strict rules can also prevent the application from loading. This is a typical case in schools, where the network is often filtered. If you are working from home and the problem persists, temporarily disable browser extensions that block scripts.

In summary, before even thinking about the password, three checks are necessary:

  • The URL entered corresponds to your institution’s UAI, provided by the administration or the DDFTP responsible for the programs
  • The browser used is Chrome or Firefox, up to date
  • No proxy, antivirus, or extension is blocking requests to the C’Pro STI server

To better understand the complete procedure and log in to C’Pro with Collectif pour l’Emploi, a detailed guide accompanies each step of the authentication process.

C’Pro STI Identifiers: format of the login and initial password

The format of the identifiers follows a simple but strict logic. The login generally takes the form firstname.lastname in lowercase, limited to 20 characters. Spaces in the first name or last name are replaced by hyphens. For example, a user named Jean Pierre Durand would log in with “jean-pierre.durand”.

For a student’s first login, the password corresponds to the date of birth in the format ddmmyyyy. A person born on March 5, 2007, would therefore use “05032007”. This temporary password is intentionally simple to facilitate the first access.

For teachers and staff, the identifiers are provided by the C’Pro STI administrator of the institution. The initial password may vary depending on the local configuration. If you have not received it, the person to contact is the designated referent in your high school, not the national support as a first point of contact.

After this first login, immediately change your password. A password based on a date of birth can be guessed by any classmate. Choose a combination of at least eight characters mixing letters and numbers.

Diagnosis when the correct password does not work

You enter the correct identifiers, you click, and nothing happens. This scenario is more common than a simple password forgetfulness. Several distinct causes deserve to be checked in order.

An account not linked to a class or an active session can prevent authentication even if the identifiers are technically correct. The administrator must have associated your profile with a group in the application. Without this linkage, the connection leads to a blank page or an unclear error message.

Cookies and the browser cache constitute another source of silent blockage. If you have logged in on another device or if a previous session did not close properly, the server may refuse a new authentication. Clear the cache, delete cookies related to the domain cpro-sti.fr, and then try again.

Depending on the academies, the login paths vary between direct access via URL and passing through an ENT portal. Some institutions redirect to a regional ENT or EduConnect before reaching C’Pro STI. In this case, the blockage may come from the intermediate portal and not from C’Pro STI itself. Check with your institution what access path is in effect.

Navigating C’Pro STI after login: guidelines for teachers and students

Once logged in, the interface is divided into two navigation areas. The blue top banner provides access to account settings, support, and logout. The white banner just below groups the educational functions: skills assessments, educational scenarios, evaluations, and internship periods.

For a teacher, the “Classes” menu allows you to find the list of attached learners and track their acquisitions. The learner dashboard offers a synthetic view of validated, ongoing, or unassessed skills. It is also from this space that the assessments and the high school vocational record (LSL Pro) are managed.

For a student, the space is more restricted. It provides access to the portfolio of activities completed in the company, evaluations, and certificates of acquired skills. The display may seem limited at first: this is normal, it enriches over time with the evaluations entered by the teachers.

  • The “Resources” menu centralizes documents and certification grids related to your program
  • The “Assessments” menu displays the overall progress status of skills by block
  • The “Support” menu allows you to send a message to support if a malfunction persists after your checks

One last often overlooked point: remember to log out at the end of your session, especially on a shared computer in the computer lab. Leaving a session open exposes your account and can cause authentication conflicts for the next user.
